i log in to blog and realise that i am writing my 200th post :)
hmmm...i have been around for a bit, don't you think?

oh dear, i have to write something important isn't it? i mean you don't write your 200th post every other day, isn't it? so right now my thought processes have gone completely haywire.so maybe i should write a medley of my thoughts. like freud's free association thingie.so here goes.

i have been applying for many jobs and am not being called for many of them. i am sure it's because they get confused when they see my CV :) but some look promising. i spend a lot of time conjuring up all sorts of worst case scenarios- like there is no job for me or, they accept my application but don't like my face or they are suspicious about why i don't want to go back to working in a hospital...and other unmentionable outcomes. just writing this is making me feel 'duh'. i need to just chill and relax. what 's the point of worrying about a job when the moment you get it you will be craving for some time off. OK, hold on. need a cup of tea now. there, that feels a lot better. gosh, what the hell is that song on the radio!? oh, another remix version of some popular bollywood song. why do they kill songs this way? why? let me just go online and check if there are any online radio sites from india and not those catering to the NRIs. no luck. anyway,i went to bristol for the weekend and am unable to post the pictures i took there because my memory card has selective amnesia. damn. heard an interesting discussion on BBC London on women who choose not to have children. they call themselves 'child free' not 'childless'.Apparently 20% of women in this country fall into that category. interesting , isn't it? a woman who is a trapeze artist is also the boss at firefox go girl!). have also been thinking a lot about issues of identity- professional, personal, national and other sorts of rubbish. something tells me that if i post about that many will be have an opinion. oh,yes i saw 'finding neverland' yesterday. enjoyed it thoroughly. magical and uplifting. i recommend it highly. finally managed to watch 'super size me' too. i had heard so much about it so there were no surpises. i thought it was a important documentary though. made me wonder how often do i eat at mcdonalds? not more than 5 times in the last 2 years...and intend to reduce it further. it is getting v.cold here. oh yes! aj and myself have got our first proper climbing shoes! i've wanted to own one for awhile now and i got a v.good bargain. next year, i am going to start with proper trail walking and graduate to hiking too. got a fantastic CD - joan baez's 'first 10 years'- as a gift. aj says he wants to take me out on a date to a 100% veggie place. kinda nice, isn't it? may take up on the offer soon. thanks for reading my nonsense!
