We made a long due trip to Birmingham this weekend and visited old friends.I was given my first taste of the British tradition of having a barbecue in the garden. The sun was out and it was just SO nice not be wearing warm clothes!The whole process was fun but the food (as I am vegetarian) was insipid. But when combined with drink and talk, it seemed pretty ok. We later went out to have some Spanish food and had a heated discussion on the mixed marriages!! I must blog about that someday...
