Gay weddings have become legal in the UK! Finally. The concept of a 'legal partnership' has been approved under a new law - the civil partnership law. The airwaves are full of debates about what this means and whether it is the right way ahead. What has been refreshing so far is the lack of mixing up religion choices with personal choices. Got me wondering,when would we start accepting that there is a gay community existing in India ? When would we start considering that true diversity is empowering ? Meanwhile, I am hoping my dear friend Fra can now consider going ahead with her partner... :)
