Swades

Saw this movie in Bangalore 10 days back - Swades-We,the people. This is Gowarikar's second film after his last one,Lagaan,got nominated at the Oscars.

Like Lagaan, this was a long movie. If Lagaan made the viewer's patriotic sentiments come to the fore,Swades, does the same to one's nationalistic sentiments.I have my doubts if Swades will make it big at the box office but I think it will do well.A sensitive ,intelligent film.I enjoyed it but i did wish it was shorter.
Definitely worth a watch.The website is pretty cool too- and has trailers which will give you a flavour of the film.
